The Challenge

One of London’s preeminent financial services firm for its European headquarters, found it was necessary to embark on some local office moves, but this required it to both relocated and update its mailroom facilities.

The brief was to ensure that the mailroom needed to be both flexible and to allow for future growth in both volumes of mail, scanning facilities and also mail collection for its staff. Envosort was selected to complete this project, as a result of its reputation and completion of previous successful projects for both theFinancial Services client, and also for Mitie, the facilities management company, who was awarded the brief.

Our Solution

From the initial phone call, Envosort quickly responded with an outline quote, taken from the plans, which allowed the scope, size and costs of the project to be assessed and awarded. Some 12 months later when the project was due to be on site, some delays were experienced and changes were made. This meant that Envosort needed to re-measure and make modification to the plans and at the last minute further changes to the actual products. But due to their own in-house manufacturing flexibility that Envosort has, these were easily completed and adjusted within the project process and managed in a smooth and professional way for the client.

Envosort installed their Series 90 Heavy Duty Benching with hard waring High Pressure Laminate (HPL) with radius corners on all the exposed surfaces. A mixture of 750mm and 900mm high benches and desks were installed. At the final site check it was noted that the windows were floor to ceiling, so it was suggested that the desks facing the windows should have 100mm high upstands along the back edge to prevent items from falling over the back edge.

On the installation day, access to the site was delayed, which put pressure on the completion time, but the Envosort team, worked solidly to ensure that the finish time was still achieved.
